Start by cleansing your face exceptionally well.Areas of the skin which do not always get access to soap and water need to be cleaned properly. If you tend to have skin that is dry to normal, put on a moisturiser such as coconut oil, if available. Since it’s natural and it won’t cause loss of natural body oils that sometimes occur with masks. But if your skin is greasy, go directly to the masks.
Be sure that you are able to be in a place in which you can relax. After you apply the mask you must keep completely still for 10-20 minutes for it to be fully effective. Using your face muscles for talking or movement will stretch out the mask and hamper it’s full effects. The skin around your eyes and mouth are extremely sensitive areas, so be sure to steer clear of these areas when applying the mask, to prevent skin damage. Apply the face mask on the cheeks, forehead (avoiding the eyebrows), nose, chin and neck. Occasionally people tend to forget about the neck, but this is an important area also. The best masks are the natural masks. But before you select a mask, be sure you know your skin type.
