The older you get, the more important skin care becomes. Your skin alters as you mature. It becomes thinner and starts to sag, causing wrinkles. It injures more easily and heals more slowly, losing the ability to moisturize itself.
Smoking cigarettes also effects the skin, increasing the aging process. This is due to chemical changes it induces. Advanced harm can be fended off by stopping smoking.
Problems with skin, such as rowdiness, wrinkles, brown spots, and dilated blood vessels, are induced by sun damage. Even if you already have sun damage, you’re never too old to prevent additional damage. Be sure to avoid the sun at peak hours-between 10 AM and 4 PM. Wear a hat with a wide brim and clothes that cover your arms and legs. Always use a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher with UVA and UVB protection, if you plan on being out for more than twenty minutes, to protect yourself.
